How a job runs
The same five steps apply to a one-page website and to a whole house. You get a number before we start, and a folder when we finish.
The five steps
-
You call
You describe the job. We ask what you already have and what has already been tried. If we are not the right people, we say so on that call, and it costs you nothing.
-
We look at what is there
For a house or a workshop, that is a site walk — the building, not a floor plan. For a website, it is a screen share and a look at what you are running now. Nobody can quote a fixed price honestly without looking first.
-
You get a price in writing
A fixed price and a written scope, including what is not in it. There is no hourly rate and no estimate that grows. You decide from a number rather than a hope. Nothing starts until you say yes.
-
We do the work
Installed, labelled and tested. You see it working before anyone calls it finished. If something turns up that changes the job, you get a call and a revised price before we carry on, not an invoice afterwards.
-
You get the folder
A diagram, a parts list with model numbers, written instructions, and every password. It is yours. If you replaced us tomorrow, the next person would have everything they need.
Every job always includes
- Labelled cabling and installs
- A diagram
- A password folder that's yours
Why we don't charge by the hour
An hourly rate makes our slowness your problem. A fixed price makes it ours.
You get the number before the work starts, in writing, with the scope beside it. If the job turns out to be bigger than it looked, we call you before we spend your money rather than after.
No hourly rates. No estimates that grow. No invoice you weren't expecting.
When you pay
Nothing is due before you have seen a fixed price and a written scope, and nothing starts until you say yes.
On most jobs — a network, a backup, cameras, an automation build — we invoice on completion, after you have seen it working.
On First Fix, the payment is split in two. Half the price is due when the logo and style board is delivered. The other half is due when the site goes live. Ownership of the logo, the files and the site transfers to you when the invoice is paid in full. Refund terms are in the FAQ and on our Terms page.
If you are not satisfied with the website, you do not pay the second half.
First Fix, in full →What to expect
- You get a written scope before the work, and a written record after it.
- You get told when something goes wrong, by us, before you notice it.
- You keep every password, every login and every account, in your name, from day one.
- Where a job depends on a third-party service with a monthly fee, we name the service and the fee in the quote.
- We work onsite across Sydney metro and remotely anywhere in Australia.
What we won't do
- We won't promise you a Google ranking, a number of leads, or a revenue figure. Those aren't ours to promise.
- We won't do your marketing. We build and look after the technology, and a website on its own is not a campaign.
- We won't give you legal, privacy, financial or compliance advice. We set up technology. Your adviser tells us the rules and we build to them.
- We won't sell you a platform we don't run ourselves.
- We won't put you on a monthly contract to get a one-off job done.
- We won't hold your passwords, your domain or your accounts.
- We won't rip out software your crew already knows because we would have done it differently.
- We won't take the job if we're not the right people for it.
We are not an agency. We are not a managed service provider with a ticket queue. We are not a marketing company that promises leads. And we are not the cheapest.

Start with a phone call
Describe the job. We will tell you on the call whether we can help and roughly what it costs.
